2026 Internship - Human Resources Analytics

Job Summary:

The HR Analytics Intern role will primarily be focused on assisting with management and reporting of human resources data, as well as enhancement of HR technology capabilities.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain standard and customized reporting of human resources data to support HR management, business partners and other internal customers. Includes building and editing queries from various HRIS systems to meet standard monthly reporting requirements and satisfy ad hoc requests from customers.
• Ensure integrity of human resources data, to include determination of root cause of errors and implementation of process improvements.
• Participate in implementation of human resources technology enhancements.
• Continuously improve upon current metrics and suggest new tools and metrics from which data can be analyzed to create an extensive and robust information database.
• Support workforce analytics and planning initiatives, including HR scorecard, dashboards, reports, workforce indicators.
• Other projects and assignments to support and gain exposure to different human resources fields.

Qualifications:

Education/Experience: Pursuing bachelor's degree in data analytics, IT, human resources, business or related field.

Qualifications:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
• Proficiency in Tableau and/or Alteryx preferred
• Verbal and written communication skills in a professional business environment
• Attention to detail
• Ability to maintain confidentiality with HR sensitive material
• Customer service focus

Applicants must be authorized to work lawfully in the U.S. for Textron Aviation at the time of making application, and visa sponsorship is not available for this position, including for F-1 students and J-1 exchange visitors who will need employment sponsorship. Summer internships are 40 hours per week typically from late-May to early-August lasting 10 weeks. Candidates must be able to work onsite for the entirety of the internship program unless approved otherwise by the hiring manager.
