Vaco is seeking an experienced Accountant for a thriving organization located in the Chandler area.

Responsibilities include:

• Maintain and analyze the general ledger, prepare journal entries, perform monthly closings, and support financial integrity through sales tax returns, fixed assets, and inventory reviews.
• Collaborate with and provide backup support to AP, AR, and Payroll teams, including reviewing AP batches and assisting with AR collections.
• Develop and work with financial reports and spreadsheets, research account variances, and ensure strong accounting controls under the direction of the Controller.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, or Finance
• 2 plus years of experience in accounting/finance with general ledger responsibilities.
• Experience in month end closing and preparing financial statements.
• Prior work with SAGE accounting software is preferred.
• Someone who is detail oriented and able to wear many hats.
• Must be able to work onsite Monday through Friday.
