What You'll Do: + Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities. + Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to assist with maintaining order at the location. + Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential issues. + Monitor access points and observe for unusual or suspicious activity within the government location. + Document incidents, observations, and activities in a clear and timely manner according to Allied Universal protocols. + Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and staff while upholding the reputation of Allied Universal at all times. + Support access control procedures and verify credentials as required by site-specific guidelines. + Follow post orders and any additional instructions provided by Allied Universal management or site supervision. Minimum Requirements: + At least 1 year of security-related experience is required. + Applicants must be at least 21 years of age. + It is preferred that applicants are comfortable using a computer or tablet. + CPR certification is preferred. + CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred. + Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles. + Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. + Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. + Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. + A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
