We are seeking a strategic and experienced Reimbursements Operations Associate Director to join our Patient Services Program (PSP) Operations team at argenx. This is a brand new position and will support PSP management specific to reimbursement operations. This will include working extensively across multiple functional areas, agencies and vendors to establish and evolve patient services.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Conducting reimbursement needs assessments for the programs user population which may include healthcare provider office staff, patients, caregivers, and ecosystems.

Design of program components to meet the identified reimbursement support needs and identification of necessary vendor or service partners, including copay operations vendors

Conduct RFI/RFP processes to identify best-in-class partners

Manage contracting process in conjunction with legal and finance to ensure well-defined outcome measures are included

Develop and maintain platform subject matter expertise aligned with reimbursement personas/capabilities/process flows

Daily monitoring of reimbursement related analytics and dashboards

Ensures PSP SOPs and workflows are up to date and accurate

Manage and improve quality standards of program correspondence, resources and materials associated with reimbursement. Represents team at review committee focused on reimbursement, as needed

Collaborate with field reimbursement teams and multiple cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues

In conjunction with the training team, ensure current training is optimized and serve as SME for any new reimbursement focused training

Partner with quality entities to ensure appropriate quality standards are being met across program vendors

Lead all enhancements and optimizations surrounding affordability

Skills and Competencies:

Understanding of the promotional, medical and regulatory review process and FDA audit guidelines

Understanding of reimbursement, access and distribution dynamics for specialty products

High change agility and the ability to create a positive patient experience

Understanding of the laws and regulations governing provision of access support services

Ability to apply Compliance Policies and Procedures (CPP) in unstructured and fluid situations

High level of motivation and a strong ability to find creative solutions to challenging unstructured situations

Excellent communication (written & verbal), interpersonal influencing skills and prioritization skills

Education, Experience and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and advanced degree (MBA) preferred

Minimum of 10 years of experience in a pharmaceutical company, healthcare program management, or consulting organization with a focus on patient support services, preferably in the life sciences sector

Proven track record in leading operations for multiple support programs

Outstanding interpersonal skills: Build strong working relationships and manage conflict

Strong organizational skills: Ability to adapt to change in a high-energy and fast-paced environment

Excellent communication skills: Clear and concise written and verbal communication to effectively convey information across levels

Project management skills: Experience working independently and highly detail oriented when developing, executing, and monitoring project plans to meet deadlines

Analytical skills: Ability to gather and interpret data to inform decision-making

Strategic thinking: Ability to identify opportunities and develop a plan to address challenges

Cross-functional collaboration: Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate collaboration

Discretion and confidentiality: Ability to handle sensitive information with utmost confidentiality

Demonstrates initiative, teamwork, and accountability

Recognized as a strong individual contributor that gets things accomplished, with the ability to influence without authority
