Job Description

The candidate will process, balance, and close computerized general ledger accounts, and maintain records for CGP, CDBG, and FSS programs. As the fiscal year winds down, the candidate is expected to quickly contribute and support the Finance team under the supervision of the Director of Finance & IT.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries and close programs on the general ledger.
• Perform account analysis and reconcile bank statements.
• Maintain program records (CGP, CDBG, FSS).
• Prepare reports for HUD.

Requirements

• Education: Associates degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• Experience: 24 years in Accounting or Finance.
• Skills: Strong record-keeping, financial reporting, and math skills; ability to work independently, communicate effectively, and use sound reasoning. Typing speed of 35 wpm required.

Work Schedule

• Full-time (40 hrs/week), 9/80 schedule (every other Friday off).
• Maximum 980 hours.
• Must clear background and 10-panel drug screen.
