About The Role We're seeking a visionary Brand Designer to shape, elevate, and evolve the Character.ai brand and help bring our AI products and research to life and into the hands of as many people as possible. We are in the very early innings of introducing the general population to this transformative technology, and brand will play a pivotal role to help reach our mission by helping to communicate our products’ value and continuing to make it something people are excited to interact with. In this role, you’ll be responsible for crafting and evolving our digital brand and visual identity that resonates with a diverse user base, and realizing it through digital experiences and marketing efforts.
Key Responsibilities - Develop and evolve the Character.ai brand identity across all touchpoints, consumer product interfaces and digital marketing and social surfaces and materials.
- Design captivating web experiences, interactive elements, and digital assets that bring our AI capabilities and characters to life
- Create and articulate a creative vision and collaborate with cross-functional teams - including both product and marketing, key stakeholders and partners to execute and implement a cohesive visual narrative.
- Lead the evolution of brand guidelines and ensure consistent implementation across all channels
- Contribute to marketing and growth strategies by designing innovative, eye-catching assets
Requirements - 5+ years of experience in brand design, with a focus on digital and interactive design in an agency or fast growing tech company setting.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional visual design skills and a keen eye for typography, color, and composition
- Experience and proficiency with motion and interactive design, 3D design, UI/UX, illustration, and design systems
- Expertise in designing for web and mobile platforms
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills to sell your ideas and gather buy-in.
- You’ve taken a brand from 0 to 1 not once, but many times.
