About the Role:
Join Mindful Senior Care as a Certified CNA/HHA, where you will provide compassionate and personalized care to seniors in Palm Beach and Broward county. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our clients while working in a supportive and nurturing environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life.
• Monitor and document clients' health status and report any changes to the office staff.
• Assistance with Self-Administration of medication.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
• Collaborate with family members and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
• Adhere to all safety and health regulations while providing care.

Requirements:

• Current CNA or HHA license issued by the state of Florida Board of Nursing, Department of Health.
• HIV/AIDS training Certificate.
• Assistance with Self-Administration of Medication Certificate. Minimum 2 hours.
• Alzheimers Training Certificate. Minimum 3 Hours.
• Domestic Violence Training Certificate.
• Physical. * A statement from a health care professional dated within the last six months that states the contractor is free from communicable diseases. * Under Florida law we cannot accept a statement from a Chiropractor.
• CPR Certification Card. * NO online courses accepted.
• Valid State of Florida Driver License or ID Card.
• Social Security Card.
• Professional References, including contact names and phone numbers.
• Eligible Florida Level 2 background Screening (fingerprint based).
• Previous experience in home health care or a similar role preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate demeanor.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable transportation.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
• Basic understanding of medical terminology and patient care practices.
• Willingness to undergo drug screening as required.
