• Entering Data: Transferring information from source documents (paper or digital) into databases, spreadsheets (primarily Microsoft Excel), or other software systems.
• Accuracy and Verification: Reviewing new and existing data for errors, inconsistencies, or missing information and making necessary corrections.
• Document Management: Organizing, filing, scanning, and retrieving documents, records, and reports, both physical and electronic.
• Administrative Support: Performing general office duties such as processing invoices/expense reports, answering and directing phone calls, managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and ordering supplies.
• Reporting: Compiling data and preparing reports for management review.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Candidates for these roles typically need:

• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite: Strong knowledge of Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote, and especially Excel is essential.
• Attention to Detail: High accuracy is critical in managing sensitive company and client information.
• Communication Skills: Strong written and oral communication abilities are needed for coordinating with various team members and clients.
• Organizational and Time Management Skills: The ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently is important.
• Experience: These are often not entry-level "data entry only" positions; they may require several years of administrative or office management experience.
