Digital Marketing Freelancer Location Hybrid remote in Chicago, IL : The
Digital Marketing Team at Boka Restaurant Group seeks a person who is enthusiastic, detail oriented, takes initiative, and is data-driven! Reporting to the Marketing Manager - Creative & Digital, the Digital Marketing Freelancer is responsible for assisting with reporting, email marketing, and content for Boka Restaurant Group's restaurant concepts. Additional responsibilities include assisting the team by measuring, and enriching the online presence of our restaurant concepts through various strategies and tactics. About Boka Restaurant Group: Boka Restaurant Group was founded by Rob Katz and Kevin Boehm in 2003 and has become one of the premier chef-driven restaurant groups in the country. Anchored by partnerships with some of America's greatest chefs-Stephanie Izard, Giuseppe Tentori, Lee Wolen, Chris Pandel, Gene Kato, Daniel Rose and Michael Solomonov-each of BRG's restaurants are crafted individually and conceptually unique. Responsibilities Include: - Develop and execute email marketing campaigns, including newsletters and standalone emails for restaurants.
- Create new email marketing templates.
- Track, analyze and translate campaign performance data into actionable insights.
- Maintain and update content across digital platforms such as Google Business, Apple Maps, Yelp, and Trip Advisor.
- Assist in conducting SEO audits, focusing on image alt tags and broken link checks.
- Collaborate on planning the email marketing schedule and design.
- Routinely upload new subscribers to restaurant lists and maintain a healthy subscriber list.
- Willing to take on additional tasks and projects as they arise.
Requirements: - Anticipated hours per week: 10-20 with potential for increased hours during peak seasons.
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or Advertising preferred.
- Remote/Hybrid Working Schedule
- Proficiency across Microsoft Office products, as well as with web building and development tools, like Personica, Webflow, Squarespace, and others.
- Possess strong work ethic and high degree of integrity; shows discretion and protects confidential information.
- Meets deadlines consistently through exceptional organization and clear communication.
- Adept at managing workload, prioritizing effectively, and making swift decisions in dynamic environments.
Preferred: - A passion for the restaurant industry and an understanding of its target audience.
- Stays at the forefront of the latest food and marketing trends and translates them into engaging content.
- Proficiency or familiarity with Webflow and Squarespace is preferred, but not required.
