Job Description

Our client, a leading manufacturer of custom heavy haul trailers, is seeking a Fabrication and Assembly Technician to join their team. As a Fabrication and Assembly Technician, you will be part of the production team supporting the assembly of high-quality trailers. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to quality, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Fabrication and Assembly Technician

Location: Manchester, IA

Shift: All shifts available (1st, 2nd, 3rd)

Pay Range: $21.00 - $23.00/hour

What's the Job?

• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and work orders.
• Prepare work by gathering parts, tools, and materials.
• Install and assemble components using templates, measurements, and hand tools.
• Verify completed components meet specifications using measuring tools.
• Operate and adjust machinery and equipment as needed.

What's Needed?

• Prior industrial manufacturing or fabrication experience is required
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow detailed instructions.
• Basic understanding of shop math and mechanical processes.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
