Now Hiring: Field Service Technicians for Fiber (FTTH) and Hybrid Fiber Coax (HFC)

Are you ready to join a growing team in the fast-paced telecommunications industry? We’re looking for reliable, skilled, or eager to learn Field Service Fiber and HFC (Coax) Technicians to install, troubleshoot, and maintain Fiber to the Home (FTTH) and HFC (Coax) connections for residential and small business customers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install, test, and activate fiber optic and Coax services at customer locations
• Troubleshoot and repair service issues with FTTH and Coax networks
• Pull, terminate, and splice fiber and coax cables as needed
• Provide excellent customer service and technical support on-site
• Maintain accurate service records and complete work orders
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards
Requirements:
• No experience necessary but preferred 1+ years of experience in fiber optic/coax installation or related field
• Strong knowledge of FTTH/Coax technologies and network troubleshooting.
• Ability to use splicing/coax tools, OTDR/Signal Level meter, light meters, etc...
• Comfortable working outdoors and aloft on ladders and poles in all weather conditions
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Excellent communication and time management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
• Fiber optic certification (FOA, ETA, or equivalent)
• Experience with aerial and underground installations
• Familiarity with GPON, active Ethernet systems, RG-6, RG-11, Hardline cable and loss calculations
