Job Title: Assembler (Chair Dresser / Chair Assembler)
Pay Rate: $17.87 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (Overtime and occasional Saturdays may be required)
Assignment Type: Temp-to-Hire
Position Overview:
We are seeking motivated and dependable Assemblers to join our production team. These roles (Chair Dresser and Chair Assembler) are critical in ensuring that high-quality products are built to specification and delivered on time. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on assembly experience, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced production environment. Key Responsibilities:
Perform hands-on assembly of chairs and related components according to blueprints, drawings, and written instructions.
Use hand tools, power tools, and other equipment safely and effectively to complete assigned tasks.
Conduct inspections to ensure products meet quality standards before moving to the next stage of production.
Dress, assemble, and finish chairs to meet production deadlines.
Maintain a clean and organized work area while following safety procedures at all times.
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure workflow efficiency.
Support production goals by demonstrating a strong sense of urgency and attention to detail.
Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of assembly experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and written instructions.
Computer literacy for production tracking and reporting.
Must be able to safely lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
Experience using a variety of hand tools and power tools.
Dependable, responsible, and able to work independently as well as in a team setting.
Trainable with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
Strong sense of urgency and commitment to meeting production schedules.
