Job Description
Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Intern to join our team. This position will work closely with our HR Generalist to support a variety of HR functions, including end-to-end hiring practices, building and maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs), administrative work, and project-based assignments. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, and possess excellent communication and computer literacy. This position is onsite in Bowling Green, Ky.
Key Responsibilities
Support the full recruitment lifecycle, including posting job openings, reviewing resumes, scheduling interviews, and assisting with candidate communication.
Assist in the creation, documentation, and organization of HR Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Maintain and update HR documents and records within SharePoint and other HR systems.
Provide administrative support, including preparing reports, tracking HR metrics, and organizing files.
Participate in special HR projects and initiatives as assigned.
Collaborate with team members to identify process improvements and enhance the employee experience.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable employment laws.
Qualifications
Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Problem-solving oriented with the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with SharePoint.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
