Role is 5 days on-site in Hilton Head - no relocation candidates considered

Insight Global is seeking an IT Project Coordinator to join a top client of ours in Hilton Head, SC. In this role, you will provide project management support to ensure the smooth execution of various tasks related to hardware deployment, procurement, inventory, asset management, and coordination between IT and operations. You will be responsible for driving task management, maintaining project timelines, and ensuring deliverables are met on time related to IT projects. You will work closely with project leads and team members, providing updates on potential issues, risks, and changes, ensuring transparency, and offering timely solutions to keep the project on track. Smartsheet with be utilized for project tracking and ServiceNow for asset management tickets. The project will be completed January 2026 with potential for extension based on need and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the project by managing project tasks, timelines, and deliverables. Act as a single point of contact for project coordination.
• Oversee procurement and inventory management, including hardware deployment preparations and installation coordination.
• Work with project leads and teams to ensure timely updates and communication of potential risks and issues. Schedule and facilitate meetings, document minutes, and ensure follow-up on action items.
• Maintain project materials, reports, and budgets. Prepare documents and assist leaders with financial reconciliation and budget tracking.
• Coordinate all project-related materials, ensuring proper approvals and communication. Provide support in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment, reacting calmly to challenges.

Structure:

• 5 days on-site in Hilton Head Island
• Contract through February 2026 with possible extensions
• Monday - Friday; 8am-5pm

Must-Haves:

• Excel, Microsoft, & some Infor knowledge.
• Foundational IT knowledge and understanding
• Strong experience in project coordination, managing tasks, and maintaining timelines utilizing project management software (preferably Smartsheet or MS Project)
• Ability to track and manage budgets using financial tools.
• Able to proactively identify and troubleshoot project issues, ensuring the project stays on track.

Plusses:

• Previous experience in the healthcare industry or working with healthcare projects.
• Familiarity with hardware deployment, asset management, and coordination between IT and operational teams.
• Experience with budget tracking and reporting tools within project settings.
