Join our AI Ecosystem Design team as a UX Researcher to plan and execute research studies that inform product decisions and uncover new opportunities for innovation. Location Downtown Chicago, IL office, hybrid schedule: 3 days onsite and 2 days remote. What You’ll Do Design and conduct evaluative research studies including user interviews, usability testing, surveys, and field research. Manage end-to-end research operations: recruit participants, coordinate logistics, and oversee data collection and analysis. Advocate for user needs at every stage, ensuring that interfaces are intuitive, accessible, and engaging. Lead prototyping, user testing, and data-driven iteration to continuously enhance product engagement and usability. Synthesize research findings into clear, actionable insights and communicate them through reports, presentations, and workshops. Collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering teams to inform product decisions and inspire new design directions. Support exploratory research initiatives that investigate future user needs and emerging technology opportunities. Apply AI tools to enhance research efficiency and uncover deeper insights. Create learning experiments to test core assumptions and de‑risk new designs. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in HCI, Psychology, Anthropology, Sociology, Design Research, or related field. 2+ years of design research experience (including relevant academic research, internships, or professional roles). Hands‑on experience using AI tools to enhance user research processes. Preferred Qualifications Working knowledge of UX design principles and ability to contribute meaningfully to design discussions. Genuine curiosity about AI, emerging technologies, and their impact on human behavior. Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills with attention to detail.
