Licensed Optician – Part-Time to Full-Time Opportunity
Private practice seeking a friendly, detail-oriented Licensed Optician to join our patient-focused team. This position begins as part-time (hours are flexible) with potential to grow into full-time based on performance and practice needs.
Responsibilities include:
· Assisting patients with frame selection and lens options
· Measuring, fitting, and adjusting eyewear
· Managing orders and verifying prescriptions
· Providing excellent customer service and product knowledge
· Maintaining frame inventory and display areas
· Training and mentoring an apprentice optician to ensure consistency and quality in patient care
Qualifications:
· Current Optician License (required)
· Strong communication and leadership skills
· Passion for helping patients look and see their best
· Experience in a private practice or optical retail setting preferred
Compensation & Benefits:
· $27–$31 per hour, depending on experience
