🔧 Maintenance Engineer- Onsite

📍 Location: Within commuting distance of Cedar Rapids, Waterloo, Cedar Falls, or Delaware, IA

💼 Department: Maintenance

🕒 Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM + occasional after-hours and weekend support

💰 Compensation: $90K–$110K + bonuses + full benefits

We are seeking a skilled and hands-on Maintenance Engineer to lead and support critical maintenance functions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role combines technical expertise with team coordination and strategic planning to ensure optimal equipment performance and plant reliability.

🔍 Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate maintenance activities across a diverse team of technicians and support staff
• Execute repair, troubleshooting, and installation of mechanical and electrical equipment
• Manage Preventive & Predictive Maintenance (PM/PdM) programs using CMMS tools
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime
• Collaborate on major equipment upgrades, robotic integrations, and capital projects
• Schedule downtime for maintenance and manage resources for smooth execution
• Train team members and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards
• Monitor KPIs and use data to improve equipment availability and maintenance efficiency

✅ Ideal Candidate Profile

• 5–10 years of mechanical maintenance experience , including some leadership or project ownership
• Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, motors, PLCs , and automation systems
• Hands-on experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting required
• Exposure to robotic or automated packaging equipment is a plus
• Familiar with CMMS systems, work order tracking, and inventory control
• Clear communicator with strong organizational and problem-solving skills

🎁 Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: $90K–$110K (Negotiable)
• Quarterly Bonus Program: Up to 6–8% of annual salary
• Perfect Attendance Bonus: $2/hour additional incentive
