Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Metal Finisher with proven Plasma Cutting experience to join our 1st shift team in Kings Mountain, NC. The ideal candidate will be proficient in preparing metal surfaces and operating plasma cutting equipment to produce high-quality parts for our production lines.
Key Responsibilities
Perform metal finishing duties, including grinding, sanding, and deburring metal components to smooth and prepare surfaces.
Operate and maintain plasma cutting equipment to cut metal to specified dimensions and requirements.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders to determine appropriate finishing and cutting procedures.
Qualifications
Prior experience in metal finishing, including experience with grinders (as per page context), buffers, and other hand and power tools.
Demonstrated experience operating plasma cutting equipment.
Ability to read and understand technical documents and measurements.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Must be able to work the 1st shift schedule (6:00 AM - 4:30 PM).
