Location: Dulles International Airport (IAD)
Shifts: Open availability required after 1:30 PM | Weekends required | Shift ends upon completion of duties
Pay: $16.78/hour

Are you seeking a hands-on, part-time position in a dynamic airport environment? We are currently hiring Part-Time Baggage Handlers to support ground operations at Dulles International Airport (IAD). This opportunity is ideal for individuals who are reliable, physically active, and comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Position Details

• Employment Type: Part-Time
• Availability Requirements:
  
  • Open availability after 1:30 PM
  • Weekend availability is mandatory
  • Shifts begin at 1:30 PM and continue until all duties are completed (end time may vary)
  • Must be willing to stay until the ticket counter is closed in the event of flight delays
  • Reliable transportation is required

Key Responsibilities

• Load and unload luggage and cargo safely from aircraft
• Transport baggage between aircraft and designated areas on the tarmac
• Operate baggage carts and ground support equipment
• Comply with all airport safety procedures and security protocols
• Communicate clearly and effectively with team members and supervisors

Qualifications

• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 lbs
• Comfortable working outdoors in all types of weather
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work with minimal supervision
• Must pass an airport background check and obtain necessary security clearance
