Key Responsibilities:

  • Front Desk Coordination: Serve as the first point of contact for patients, ensuring smooth front desk operations.
  • Phone Support: Answer phone inquiries professionally, directing calls appropriately while maintaining proper records.
  • Patient Check-in/Check-out: Facilitate seamless patient intake and discharge processes, verifying necessary documentation.
  • Appointment Scheduling: Efficiently manage appointment calendars, ensuring timely scheduling and rescheduling when necessary.
  • Patient Care: Promote a welcoming and supportive experience for patients, addressing questions and concerns empathetically.
  • Customer Service: Deliver exemplary service by promptly addressing patient inquiries and maintaining a positive demeanor.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Previous experience in a healthcare or administrative setting is strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to ensure patient satisfaction.
  • Familiarity with patient management systems is a plus.
  • High level of professionalism and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Availability for flexible hours depending on clinic operations.

• Minimum of three years of experience in a medical or healthcare setting.
• Proficiency in medical terminology and familiarity with patient registration processes.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Experience with computer-based information systems, including Epic software.
• Demonstrated ability to compile and organize medical records and documentation.
• Knowledge of oncology, radiology, and surgical terminology preferred.
• Associates degree in a relevant field is preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.
