I am working with a Leading Private Equity Firm that are looking for a Private Equity Senior Associate to join their team in Denver, CO.

Screen transportation and logistics targets, review CIMs, build preliminary financial models, and assess fit with the fund’s investment thesis.
Maintain and refine LBO models, run sensitivities, analyze KPIs such as route efficiency, asset utilization, fuel costs, and network capacity.
Coordinate commercial, operational, and technical diligence, work with consultants, and synthesize findings to assess risks specific to trucking, warehousing, freight forwarding, and 3PL operations.
Monitor existing portfolio companies, review monthly operating/financial reports, track KPIs (OTIF, load factor, margin per mile, warehouse throughput), and support value-creation initiatives.
Prepare IC memos, presentations, and valuation updates, and communicate key insights to partners, lenders, and management teams.
