Product Manager

Purpose and Scope/General Summary: We are looking for a Product Manager for JBS . This role is based at our Mason, Oh location. The ideal candidate will be very detailed orientated and thrive on supporting a busy, fast -paced team. This role offers excellent growth potential!

Responsibilities:

1. Conducts quality control testing on products and raw materials on the plant floor, warehouse, distributions centers.
   1. Utilizes and/or adapts inspection equipment to meet quality control standards, make suggestions about procedures, standards and equipment to facilitate work and maintain product quality.
   2. Investigate and determine cause of faulty work and consult and advise production supervisors as to corrective measures.
   3. Analyze facts or circumstances surrounding individual problems to determine what action should be taken within the limits if standard practices.
   4. Directs workers engaged in cutting, packing and testing product and tabulating data concerning materials, products, or process quality and reliability.
   5. Confers with plants, suppliers, and customers to achieve product quality to specification.
2. Writes and manages product specifications per customer requirements.
3. Maintains yields and production records.
   1. Compiles and maintains inspections records and quality audits, yields and other reports.
4. May assume other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent certification
• Minimum of one-year supervisory experience
• Minimum of three to five years of experience in a quality control in a retail or manufacturing environment
• Experience in food manufacturing quality assurance preferred
• Ability to speak, read, and write English
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to prepare spreadsheets and use Microsoft Office Products (Word, Outlook, Excel, Power Point and/or Access) to analyze data and trends.
• Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
• Good math skills
• Must be well-organized with good attention to detail
• Display strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Adaptable and dependable with ability to follow direction and work cooperation with others
• Must maintain a helpful and professional attitude and appearance
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed, but uninvolved, instructions and to deal with problems involving different variables.

• As a salaried position with the company, you may be required to travel at some point to other facilities, to attend Company events, or as a representative of the Company in other situations . The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits :

• Benefits : Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;
• Paid Time Off : sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;
• 401(k) : company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule;
• Base salary range of [$92,917-$112,457] ;
• Incentive Pay: This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s annual bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program;
