Summary Great Opportunity at MI Windows and Doors in Temperance, MI!Production Assembler on Night ShiftMon-Fri, Shift starts at 7pmPay Rate - $18.00 + $1.25 shift differential A Production Assembler position is available in Temperance at MI Windows and Doors. The Production Assembler will safely and efficiently fabricate and assemble precision-built windows and various sub-components within established quality standards. This is a Night Shift position that starts at 7pm. Hourly pay rate is $18.00/ hour plus $1.25/hr shift differential. Responsibilities Must work safely, always using Personal Protective Equipment, following the company’s safety procedures and policies. Understands and follows quality guidelines Inspect, examine and identify products that may be defectiveUnderstand and meet the operation performance standards established for each workstation/position Perform any workstation function using hand or power tools, saws, welders, or routersUnderstand and carry out oral instructionsRead and carry out written instructionsRead production paperwork, labels, and computer filesRead and use a tape measureMake fraction and decimal conversions Operate any equipment as requested to perform jobMaintain and clean work areaMaintain regular attendance and work overtime as requiredOther duties as assigned Qualifications High School Diploma is preferred.Must be able to perform all essential duties and responsibilities satisfactorily, including completing daily expectations within established takt times. Basic reading, writing and math skills. Manual dexterity required for assembly work and operating machinery. The ability to interact with people beyond giving and receiving instructions. Good interpersonal skills are needed to operate in and maintain a team environment.
