We are seeking a Proposal Writer who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-oriented, and mission-driven environment. This role is responsible for developing clear, compliant, and compelling responses to RFPs, RFIs, and SSNs, and for contributing to the continuous improvement of our proposal content library. You will collaborate cross-functionally with subject matter experts, sales, marketing, and design to ensure that every submission reflects RSI’s excellence, brand integrity, and client-focused value proposition. What You’ll Do Manage assigned proposal requests from initial analysis through final delivery, ensuring compliance with instructions and alignment with RSI’s capabilities. Analyze client requirements, conduct background research on target organizations, and stay informed on competitor positioning and industry trends to sharpen proposal messaging. Draft, revise, and polish content across all proposal sections, executive summaries, scopes of work, resumes, methodologies, case studies, and pricing narratives. Contribute to the development and maintenance of reusable content libraries, templates, and modular proposal components to improve consistency and efficiency. Coordinate with SMEs, sales leads, designers, and leadership to gather inputs, validate technical details, and align responses with strategic messaging. Ensure all written deliverables are accurate, well-formatted, brand-consistent, and delivered on time under tight deadlines. Work closely with graphic designers to transform complex concepts into clear and persuasive visuals, diagrams, and infographics. What You’ll Bring 2–5 years of professional experience in proposal writing, preferably in B2B technical or cybersecurity fields. Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or related field—or equivalent professional experience. Superior written and verbal communication skills, with an eye for detail and clarity. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple proposals and deadlines simultaneously. Self-motivated, highly organized, and adaptable to shifting priorities. Proficient in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive) and document management best practices. Experience with proposals for cybersecurity, compliance, or IT consulting services. Familiarity with public sector procurement processes (e.g., SLED/Federal proposals). Working knowledge of Monday.com, HubSpot, or CRM/proposal tracking tools. Awareness of EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) terminology and structure. APMP or Shipley certification/training is a strong plus.
