Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients recovering from surgery, stroke, trauma, or other medical conditions
- Administer medications, monitor patient progress, and document care plans accurately
- Collaborate with physical, occupational, and speech therapy teams to support patient recovery goals
- Educate patients and families on care routines, discharge instructions, and long-term health management
- Maintain a safe, supportive environment that encourages patient independence and rehabilitation success
Requirements
- Current Wisconsin RN License (or Compact License)
- Minimum 1 year of recent Rehabilitation or Med-Surg experience
- Active BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
- Strong communication, assessment, and care coordination skills
