Were seeking an exceptional Research Scientist to join our pioneering Life Sciences team at Anthropic. Our team is building a world-class research group focused on making fundamental biological discoveries. This role combines cutting-edge AI with hands-on biological research positioning Anthropic at the forefront of AI-accelerated scientific discovery.
As a founding member of Life Sciences youll work in a high-impact team that operates at the intersection of computational and experimental biology. Youll help establish Anthropic as a leader in biology research while developing product intuition through direct engagement with the challenges and opportunities of laboratory science.
This role offers a unique opportunity to shape how AI transforms biological research. Youll work with some of the worlds best AI researchers while tackling problems that matter deeply for human health and scientific understanding. Role-specific policy: For this role we expect staff to be able to work from our San Francisco office at least 3 days a week though we encourage you to apply even if you might need some flexibility for an interim period of time.
The expectedbase compensation for this position is below. Our total compensation package for full-time employees includes equity benefits and may include incentive compensation.
Annual Salary:
$300000 - $320000 USD
Education requirements: We require at least a Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
Location-based hybrid policy: Currently we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However some roles may require more time in our offices.Visa sponsorship: We do sponsor visas! However we arent able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this.
