Robotics Technician | Muskegon, MI

Salary Range: $60,000 - $92,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Install, calibrate, and test industrial robots and robotic systems.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on robotic equipment.
• Troubleshoot complex electrical, mechanical, and software issues in robotic cells.
• Modify and optimize robot programs to improve production efficiency and quality.
• Ensure all robotic operations comply with safety standards and regulations.
• Document maintenance procedures, repairs, and system modifications.

Recommended Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Robotics, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
• Proficiency in programming, operating, and troubleshooting industrial robots (e.g., FANUC, ABB, KUKA).
• Strong experience with PLC programming and diagnostics (e.g., Rockwell, Siemens).
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic/hydraulic systems.
• Understanding and adherence to industrial safety protocols (e.g., LOTO, machine guarding).
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical blueprints, and technical manuals.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with PLC programming (e.g., Rockwell, Siemens)
• Familiarity with industrial vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence)
• Understanding of industrial networking protocols (e.g., EtherNet/IP, PROFINET)
• Proficiency with CAD software for reviewing robot cell layouts
