What you'll do:

• Operates scale to weigh incoming and outgoing trucks.
• Ensures appropriate information on tickets for each truck including customer, job, and weight of product.
• Accepts checks or cash payments and records accordingly, to be turned over to Accounts Receivable.
• Provides customer information as required, answering basic questions regarding type, quality, quantity, and timeliness of deliveries. May forward customers to sales department for further assistance if needed.
• Generates daily, weekly and monthly reports of activity.
• Compiles daily reports including Daily Production Sales and Inventory (DPSI) and Customer Summary Reports of crushed concrete materials sold.
• Records petty cash receipts and disbursements, completes and logs all sales receipts, and submits to accounts payable for reimbursement of petty cash account.
• Answers phone, assists drivers as needed, and supports Sales on customer orders as needed.
• Performs other duties as required or assigned.
• General clerical office duties as assigned when not serving as Scalehouse relief

What you'll need:

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and stay organized
• Able to work in multiple locations as needed in a relief role
• Able to communicate orally and in writing
• Experience with Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, Outlook
• Meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency
• Previous scale house experience desired, but not required

Working Conditions:

• Able to stand for several hours per day and work for long periods without a break.
• Able to work in dusty, noisy environment.
• Ability to lift and carry 20 lbs.
