School Nurse / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Registered Nurse (RN)

We are currently hiring  Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) and  Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our dedicated school nursing team in Los Angeles. In this role, you will provide specialized care to medically fragile children in local school districts. Each student requires varying levels of care, so we are looking for nurses with experience in handling complex medical needs.

Licensed Vocational Nurse or   Registered Nurse Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct care to students with medically complex conditions
• Collaborate with school staff to create a safe and supportive environment
• Administer medications, manage medical equipment, and perform procedures as needed
• Monitor and support students’ daily health needs, including but not limited to, feeding tubes, respiratory support, and chronic conditions

Licensed Vocational Nurse or   Registered Nurse Requirements:

• 1 year of nursing experience (LVN or RN)
• Current physical exam (within the last year)
• PPD test (within the last year) or  chest x-ray if PPD is positive
• Valid CPR certification
• Fingerprinting required

Licensed Vocational Nurse or   Registered Nurse Experience with the following is strongly preferred:

• Ventilator care (experience with pediatric ventilator support)
• Tracheostomies (trach care, suctioning, and management)
• Diabetes management (insulin administration, blood glucose monitoring, and hypoglycemia interventions)
• Catheterization (for students requiring intermittent or indwelling catheters)
• Tube feedings (gastronomy or nasogastric tube feedings)

We are hiring for  full-time ,  part-time , and  per diem  positions, offering flexible scheduling options to suit your availability.

Licensed Vocational Nurse or   Registered Nurse Compensation:

• $28–34/hour , depending on experience
