GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify learning, behavioral, and emotional needs.

* Provide individual and group counseling to students experiencing academic, social, or emotional difficulties.

* Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop and implement intervention strategies.

* Assist in the development and monitoring of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 Plans.

* Provide crisis intervention and support for students in need.

* Support behavior management programs and create strategies for positive student behavior.

* Conduct research and data analysis to evaluate student progress and program effectiveness.

* Facilitate professional development for staff on mental health, learning disabilities, and effective classroom interventions.

* Promote a safe and inclusive school environment that supports student success.

* Stay current with best practices and legal requirements in school psychology.
