School Psychologist

Compensation: $70K-$80K per year

Job Type: Full Time. Monday - Friday. Day shift.

Our client, a school dedicated to supporting children with disabilities, is seeking a School Psychologist for their Bronx, NY location.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support the emotional, social, and academic development of students
  • Conduct initial psychological evaluations
  • Provide individual and small-group counseling
  • Offer crisis intervention and classroom support as needed
  • Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and develop Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) to address challenging behaviors
  • Lead parent workshops and staff training on topics such as behavior management and social-emotional development
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school policies
  • Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities
  • Work closely with teachers, therapists, administrators, and other staff to develop and implement strategies that support student success

Job Requirements:

  • Certified School Psychologist
  • Proficiency in the Behavior Assessment System for Children-3 (BASC-3)
