Under the general supervision of the Clinical Director, the provider will complete review of referrals submitted for psychological testing. This will consists of completing/conducting Autism Spectrum Disorder screenings/ assessments, diagnostic and cognitive assessments, record reviews, and staffing of cases that are diagnostically complex or challenging.T he LPES is responsible for the completion of comprehensive assessments of individuals. Assist with Re-Evaluations and Appeals as required.
Must hold a license to pracitce in South Carolina as a Psychologist, School psychologist or LPES. Must have training and experience with various evaluation and screening measures-cognitive, adaptive, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), etc. Must have current working knowledge/ understanding of ASD and specific experience. training, and specialization in ASD services. Must possess effective communication skills, verbal and written, and the ability to work cooperatively with families, professionals, and the public. Must maintain a valid SCDL in good standing.
