Job Description:

USSTRATCOM is a Combatant Command responsible for strategic deterrence, nuclear operations, and enterprise IT services essential to national security. It oversees Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3), Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (JEMSO), Global Strike, and Missile Threat Assessments, working closely with other Combatant Commands, Services, and defense agencies. SCITLS will be a key component that will ensure mission success and the safety of the U.S. and its allies by providing 24/7 IT services and network support for NIPRNet, SIPRNet, JWICS, and SAP/SAR environments.

Command Lab Environment (CLE) AI/Machine Learning Operations (MLOps):

• Implements and manages the infrastructure, tools, and practices needed for model versioning, monitoring, and deployment.
• Ensures that models are well-integrated into operational workflows and maintain consistency.
• Enables the data science team to work more efficiently by maintaining operational stability of machine learning models.
• Researches, designs, and builds AI systems that can learn and make predictions.
• Conducts AI systems experiments and tests to ensure models work as intended.
• Provides engineering support for command lab interactions and integration of Data Operations, MLOps, and DevSecOps in AI/ML.
• Contributes to research and development and performs innovation concept exploration.
• Provides recommendations, regarding emerging developments, technologies, and capabilities in AI/ML, for use within the command.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

• Education and Experience: BA/BS or equivalent and 8+ years of experience
• Required Certifications: GCLD or GSEC or CSSLP; ITIL 4 Foundation ITSM certification or ability to obtain within 9 months of hire
• Desired Certifications: Certified Artificial Intelligence Practitioner (CAIP); or AWS Certified Machine Learning Specialty; or Microsoft Certified Azure AI Engineer Associate; or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) AI/ML Certified Architect; or Openshift Container Platform Specialist
• Security Clearance: minimum Top Secret. M ust be willing to Obtain Top Secret with SCI eligibility. TS/SCI preferred
• Location: Onsite - Offutt AFB, Omaha, NE

The likely salary range for this position is $144,410 - $195,378. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
