Joonbug is the nation’s premier nightlife event producer, crafting unforgettable experiences that set the industry standard. From exclusive weekly parties to high-energy bar crawls, we dominate the scene with next-level entertainment. We are the biggest New Years Company in the USA and we will produce 150 events in 8 cities. We work nonstop in December.  We need to hire 1000 people and you will be trained how to make that happen.   Great experience.

JOIN OUR TEAM – STAFFING EVENT MANAGER

Are you obsessed with nightlife? Do you thrive in high-energy environments where no two nights are the same? If so, Joonbug wants you!

We’re looking for passionate, driven, and fearless event pros to help curate and execute elite nightlife events across the country. As an Operations Event Manager, you’ll be in charge of staffing, payroll, marketing materials, party supplies, scheduling, listing events on multiple platforms and much more. We work nonstop in December.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING (AKA MAKING NIGHTLIFE MAGIC HAPPEN):

• Staffing– Run open calls, hire and train door staff, ticket takers, bottle host and event coordinators.
• HR – Make sure everyone has the proper paperwork, payroll is run smoothly and training.
• Coordinate Marketing Materials– On premise marketing, check inserts, flyers, poster and much more. Coordinate with creative, printing and ship materials. Also schedule content creators in markets.
• Party favors & Swag –Organize and order all that are needed.
• Event work – work the door and run events.
• Data entry & customer service: enter events into various platforms. Dialogue with customers to sell tickets.
• We work nonstop in December.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

• Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience in event management or hospitality.
• Flexibility: Must be available to work a varied schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays, based on event demands.
• Organizational Excellence: Strong attention to detail with exceptional time management skills, ensuring flawless execution of events.
• Leadership & Problem-Solving: Self-motivated, extroverted, and resilient, with the ability to think quickly and navigate high-pressure situations in a fast-paced environment.
• Communication & Customer Service: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with a strong ability to engage with clients, vendors, and event attendees.
• Tech Proficiency: Competency in Google Suite, with a particular focus on Google Sheets for event planning and tracking.
• Travel: Some travel to outside markets may be required to oversee events and expand venue partnerships.
• Work Hours: Based in our Midtown NYC office, managers are expected to work Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM, with additional weekend and extended holiday hours as necessary.
