Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Senior Electrical Designer located in Dayton, OH. The Senior Electrical Designer will be responsible for developing electrical designs, preparing detailed drawings and specifications, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. The role includes collaborating with project teams, conducting site visits, and providing technical support to clients and other engineers. The designer will also be required to participate in project planning and meetings to ensure successful project execution.

Knowledge

• Familiarity with the NEC
• Strong understanding of wiring and power distribution
• MCC's. cable sizing, power correction, variable frequency drives, transformers and switchgear, single line diagrams, lighting design, basic knowledge of P&ID's.

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in design and/or drafting with a background in electrical industrial processing plants.

Special Skills

• Proficient in REVIT & AutoCAD
• Knowledge of Navisworks
• MS Excel at advanced level
• Able to work in field, climb stairs, ladders
• Working knowledge of Databases (MS Access - preferred but not required)
