A respected manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced Industrial Sewing Machine Mechanic to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial sewing machines and related equipment. This position is responsible for ensuring machines operate efficiently, minimizing downtime, and supporting production quality and output. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and hands-on experience with industrial sewing equipment in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Inspect, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair industrial sewing machines and related production equipment.
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and operational issues to ensure optimal machine performance.
Perform routine preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
Adjust machine settings to meet production and quality standards.
Replace worn or defective parts and perform necessary calibrations.
Test machines after repairs to ensure proper operation and safety.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and parts used.
Collaborate with production and quality teams to resolve equipment-related issues.
Ensure compliance with safety procedures and operational guidelines.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Assist with equipment installations or upgrades as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements and Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of industrial sewing machines and related mechanical systems.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and work instructions.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
