Speech Language Pathologist - Acute Care at Providence Health and Services summary:

The Speech Language Pathologist in acute care diagnoses and treats communication and swallowing disorders in patients, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The role requires appropriate licensure and certifications, including a Washington Speech Language Pathologist License and BLS certification. Description

Under the general direction of the Rehabilitation Services Manager, the SLP (Speech Language Pathologist) Clinician diagnoses and treat communication and swallowing disorders in patients. The SLP Clinician will work collaboratively with a team that includes other clinicians across disciplines, rehab nurses, and physicians to create the best possible outcome for our patients.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
  • Washington Speech Language Pathologist License upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Speech Language Pathology experience.
