Toolmaker to join a leading company located in Newport, New Hampshire and the surrounding area
An experienced machinist able to support production through the use of manual equipment and independently solve problems. Analyzes specifications, lays out metal stock, fits and assembles parts to fabricate and repair metal-working dies, cutting tools, fixtures, gauges, and machine hand tools. Depending on location, toolmakers may create precision molds to support manufacturing using vertical milling centers, EDM centers, precision grinders, and 3-D printers.

Associates are frequently required to stand; walk; use hands and fingers, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The position can involve sitting, walking and lifting up to 40 pounds several times throughout the day. Job is performed standing all day. Job requires substantial movement/motion with regard to walking, bending, lifting, grasping and applying pressure to an object with the fingers and palms.
