WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Syracuse, New York.

WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Operating Room Nurse a for a 13-week contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Syracuse, NY.  Travelers can earn up to $2,200 per week for this role.  

Job Function:  

\n

• Day Shift.
\n
• 4x10: 7AM-5PM.
\n
• Prepares and administers (orally, subcutaneously, through an IV) and records prescribed medications.    
\n
• Reports adverse reactions to medications or treatments in accordance with the policy regarding the administration of medications by a licensed registered nurse.  
\n
• Educates patients on surgical procedures. Records patients’ medical information and vital signs.  
\n
• Monitors and adjusts specialized equipment used on patients, and interprets and records electronic displays.  
\n
• Initiates corrective action whenever the patient.

Job Requirements:

\n

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN).

  \n
\n

• Current State Registered Nurse (RN) license, or willingness to obtain.

  \n
\n

• 2 years of acute care experience in this specialty.

  \n
\n

• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.

  \n
\n

• ACLS certification required.

  \n
\n
