Job Description\n

American Traveler seeks an experienced Operating Room RN with both circulating and scrub skills, current NJ or compact license, and experience in robotic and ENT procedures.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Hospital-based Operating Room in a Level 2 Trauma Center
• All surgical specialties except Open Heart
• Robotic, ENT, orthopedic, vascular, general, thoracic, and neuro cases
• Night shift, 3x12 hours (19:00-07:30)
• On-call required two times per schedule
• Uses EPIC for charting
• Scrubs provided
• Will handle a diverse surgical case mix except open heart procedures
• First-time travelers are accepted for this position
• Team operates in a high-acuity trauma environment
• Locals are accepted at the same rate as travelers
• Completion of skills checklist for both scrub and circulate duties required
• COVID-19 vaccination or testing requirements may apply per facility policy

\n \n Requirements\n

• Active NJ or compact RN license required at the time of consideration
• BLS certification required
• Two years of recent acute care OR RN experience required
• Experience circulating and scrubbing in the OR is required
• Robotic and ENT surgical experience required
• Experience with orthopedic, vascular, general, thoracic, and neuro surgeries required
• Must not have been employed by the specified health system in the past year
