Job Description

We’re seeking a Unit Manager to join our growing team! Reliability, trustworthiness and consistency with regard to attendance is extremely important to this job. The ability to regularly and timely attend work, cooperative and politely work and deal with others, and to effectively multi-task and work in a stressful environment are also essential functions to this job. Must be a Licensed Nurse (LVN or RN), recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing. Benefits:

Responsibilities:
  • Assesses and evaluates the systems which facilitate the delivery of quality resident care.
  • Facilitates the resolution of issues and concerns associated with resident care, including family issues.
  • Implements and evaluates all nursing procedures and systems relative to unit programming.
  • Makes nursing diagnoses that serve as the basis for the delivery of care.
  • Performs nursing assessments regarding the health status of the resident.
  • Develops a plan of care and implements nursing care based on assessment.
  • Provide health education to residents and their families.
  • Participates in qualify assurance activities.
  • Adheres to scope of practice limitations based on qualifications.
  • Completes required forms and documents in accordance with company policy, and state/federal regulations.
  • Will perform general nursing duties in case of emergency or staffing shortages.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Demonstrate general computer knowledge capabilities.
