Airport Security Officer - Park Team (Park 22)

As an Airport Security Officer - Park Team (Park 22) in Honolulu, HI, you will safeguard the airport, staff, and its facilities. Along with driving, patrolling, checking, and securing doors. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication to all visitors and staff. Position Type: Part Time - Overnight

Pay Rate: $22.50 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $1.96. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.

Job Schedule:

1. Day Time
2. Mon 11:30 PM - 08:00 AM
3. Tue 11:30 PM - 08:00 AM
4. Wed 11:30 PM - 08:00 AM

Requirements:

• Valid Driver's License (+1 years)
• 21+ years of age
• Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
• Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist visitors, employees, and/or contractors with questions or directions as needed while maintaining a professional presence.
• Follow post orders and instructions provided by Allied Universal and site management.
• Document security-related incidents and maintain accurate logs as required by the site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
