Baer is looking for SAP JVA Consultant for a 12+month project located in Houston, TX

Title: SAP JVA Consultant

Location: Houston, TX - Onsite Required

Duration: 12 months

Rate: All-Inclusive (Travel Not Reimbursed)

Alignment: W2 or C2C

Description:

• Define the migration strategy for historical data required to properly manage Joint Venture Accounting in SAP JVA.
• Design the JVA solution tailored specifically for BHP assets, ensuring accurate handling of equity, partner shares, and cost allocations.
• Define and document the end-to-end JVA business processes for BHP assets in alignment with operational needs, compliance requirements, and system capabilities.
• Work collaboratively with the client and offshore delivery teams to provide comprehensive techno-functional support throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure seamless integration between JVA and related SAP modules such as FI, CO, and PRA to support effective financial and operational reporting.

Requirements:

• Extensive knowledge of SAP JVA and core Joint Venture Accounting processes (e.g., venture master data, partner netting, cash calls, equity groups, cutback).
• Proven experience as an SAP JVA functional analyst or consultant, with strong functional design and configuration skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot and support complex JVA integration touchpoints within SAPs upstream oil and gas solution landscape.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple stakeholder groups.
• Must be based in Houston, TX.
• Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent professional experience.
