\n\t\n\tShift: Days | 5x7.5-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 2:30 PM)

\n\nGrade Level: Elementary (K–1st Grade)
\n\t\n\tSetting: Self-contained classroom
\n\t\n\tStart Date: ASAP
\n\t\n\tEnd Date: End of current school year (optional field if known)
\n\t\nRequirements:
\n\nMust hold a valid Virginia Special Education Teaching License
\n\t\n\tExperience working with early elementary students preferred
\n\t\n\tStrong classroom management, collaboration, and individualized instruction skills
\n\t\nCompensation:
\n\nPay Rate: $50–$52/hour (W2)
\n\t\n Job Description:
\nThe Special Education Teacher will provide direct instruction and support to students in a self-contained K–1 classroom setting. The teacher will develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs), adapt curriculum to meet diverse learning needs, and foster a positive, inclusive learning environment. This role involves collaborating with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and support staff to ensure that each student achieves academic and behavioral success.
IDR Job ID #478282. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 37 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
