\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
\n• 36 hours guaranteed per week with 13-26 week contracts available
\n• Patient ratios of 1:6-7
\n• Required to work 5-6 weekend shifts every 6-week schedule period (every other weekend)
\n• Floating required as needed with potential to float every shift
\n• Must pass EKG testing prior to start
\n• 24 hours of unit orientation required
\n• Navy scrubs required
\n• Minimum 2 years of experience required
\n• Telemetry AND PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown experience required
\n• Interpretation of dysrhythmias and remote monitoring required
\n• Pre/Post Cardiac Cath, Pre/Post Cardiac Surgery, and Sheath Removal experience required
\n• Experience with accessing ports, blood product administration, central line/PICC line management required
\n• Cardiac drip titration experience (Diltiazem and Amiodarone) required
\n• ACLS certification required, NIH preferred
\n• Experience with Pyxis, EPIC, and SBAR communication required
\n• Must be assigned to Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team
\n• Fatigue policy limits work to maximum 5 consecutive days or 60 hours per week
\n• 8-10 hours of non-billable modules required pre-start and annually
