Our 75+ strong team in El Dorado Hills is seeking a Hospital Administrator to oversee operations, drive culture, and help shape the future of our hospital. With Primary Care and 24/7 Emergency Services, all under one roof, this is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic leader who wants to make a real impact.
About the Hospital - Team size: 75+ team members, including 10-12 DVMs, RVTs, CSRs, and Assistants
- Services: Primary Care, 24/7 Emergency & Urgent Care, advanced surgeries, dentistry, laser therapy, acupuncture, rehabilitation therapies, and community blood donor program
- Facilities: 2 surgical suites, dental suite with 2 x-ray units, ultrasound, water treadmill, ligature, incubator, stance analyzer, laser, and more
- Leadership team: 2 Clinical Directors + 2 Hospital Managers providing strong peer support

The Role As Hospital Administrator, you will be responsible for leading all operational aspects of the hospital. You'll work closely with the Clinical Directors and Hospital Managers to ensure smooth workflows, engaged teams, and excellent client service.
Core responsibilities include: - Oversee day-to-day hospital operations and service delivery
- Manage staffing: recruitment, training, performance management, and development
- Lead a large, diverse team of 75+ across multiple departments
- Monitor and improve financial performance (budgeting, expense management, revenue growth)
- Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain a safe, clean environment
- Drive change management initiatives to strengthen culture post-acquisition
- Act as a liaison between clients and the veterinary team, ensuring satisfaction and service excellence
- Implement and review operational policies and procedures to support efficiency and patient outcomes
- Collaborate on community outreach initiatives and educational programs
What We're Looking For - Experience: 5+ years in veterinary or healthcare leadership, ideally managing large teams
- Education: Bachelor's in Business Administration, Veterinary Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and change management skills. Strong financial acumen and organizational ability
- Attributes: A people-focused leader who can inspire, motivate, and build a positive, collaborative culture
- Flexibility: Comfortable working in a 24/7 practice environment, including day, swing, overnight, and weekend coverage as needed
Compensation & Benefits - Salary range: $100,000-$135,000 (aligned to experience)

The pay range for this role is:
100,000 - 135,000 USD per month (Insight Veterinary Wellness Center)
